This article is Max Balzer inspired since he uploaded his Buyers Guide video yesterday…. So we will be doing one. Le Apple Ultimate Buyers Guide for 2021.

Starting with the iPhone- i mean, iPod.
I literally don’t recommend getting the latest iPod as nothing new and buying one is pointless. Instead, get the 2nd Generation iPhone SE if you want to give your kids a phone or you’re in budget constraints or you still want the last iPhone to have a home button, this is released in early-2020 sooo basically almost have the same specs as the 11 but shorter battery life. And price starts at $399. If you can’t buy one right now, just go buy via apple refurbished or 3rd party or appreciate what you have first. Or save up.
Now, If you have $100 more for the iPhone closest to the iPhone 13 or want rounded design, get the iPhone 11. released in 2019 and starts at $499, this is better than the SE 2. And you can get this from 3rd party or apple refurbished.
If you want the latest iPhone, get the iPhone 12 or 12 mini or any of the iPhone 13 lineup. I said 12 if you think the 13 has minimal changes and want the big notch because apple did not add battery percentage making for the iPhone 13 lineup it pointless or when you thought you have enough money for the 13 then lost or missing 100 dollars. If you need ProRes, get the iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max but if you need cinematic mode, go for the 13. As basically the entire iPhone 13 lineup has this feature.
Next is the iPad.
What iPad I literally recommend is getting either the 9th Generation iPad or the 6th Generation iPad mini. Because yes. I’m kidding, 9th Gen. because it’s already kinda better than the Air 3 and the same features as the air 3 and recommended for those who are on budget constraints or budget. This also probably can satisfy your needs as it has 64GB storage as base configuration, A13 Bionic Chip, and 3GB RAM. it should be fast enough to play my favorite game- I mean, enough to do most of your work. Me get new iPad wen.
The 6th generation iPad mini if you want S M O L. But you will unfortunately not get Magic Keyboard but you get Apple Pencil support, A15 Bionic chip, and a redesign. This got great reviews but the only con you get from this is jelly-scrolling. This also happens when you buy the 4th Generation iPad Air, which I recommend buying as of now as likely the next iPad Air will just basically get minor changes. For short, The 4th Generation iPad Air has the same design as the 2018 iPad Pro but colors and an A14 Bionic chip.
Okay you want power? Here’s your power: M1 iPad Pro. But unfortunately I can’t guarantee this will do Most of the Mac tasks as iPadOS is limited to features.
Mac
Now if you want a Mac that can do Mac tasks, get the M1 Mac Mini if you want to bring your own display keyboard and mouse or if you want portability, the M1 MacBook Air. But Euri why these and not the 13” MacBook Pro? The Pro only gets cooling improvements and it’s heavier, not worth it. The air is lightweight, And they all have the M1 which is a processor made for everyone and beats out a 16” Intel MacBook Pro. Oh yeah, you can get the M1 iMac if you wish. Its great value soooo go buy but do not get the $1299 model as it has cooling issues.
Speaking of made for everyone Macs, if you need pro or pro max power, get the M1 Pro or M1 Max 14” or 16” MacBook Pro. For short, both the M1 Pro and the M1 Max has the same cpu benchmarks, beating out the ryzen 7 but has different metal scores as it has different GPU cores. the M1 pro has 16 GPU cores and the M1 max has 24 and 32 GPU Cores. Now, for sizes, both of the specs. are basically the same so if you want portability just get the 14”, but if you’re sensitive for cooling, get the 16” but the only cons there is it will be heavy. 16 or 24 GPU cores if you need the power, 32 cores if you actually really need the power. They also both got a redesign after 5 years and have an HDMI port, SD card slot, USB-C and headphone Jack.
If you want Apple Silicon Pro Macs, better wait till Apple Silicon arrives, unless you do boot camp or want an Intel Pro Macs. Get the 2019 Mac Pro as it is a safe buy according to Max Balzer.
Apple Watch
Next is the Apple Watch. Which I suggest getting the Apple Watch SE instead of the series 3 as the series 3 is slow and THICC bezels. meanwhile with the SE its bascially a hybrid of both series 5 and 6 and budget friendly. Series 7 is not really worth it unless you come from the Series 3 or older.
And finally, moving on to Accessories.
AirTags is pretty much worth it for everyone and makes life easier to find most of your things or belongings.
AirPods 2 is not worth it but the third generation AirPods is worth it as it is a budget version of the AirPods Pro but without noise cancellation. But if you don’t care about budget just get the AirPods Pro, you get noise cancellation. Unless you want to wait for the 2nd. Gen AirPods Pro that is to be released next year. But if you’re careless about losing one of your AirPod, get the AirPods Max! Same features but wearing a wireless old headphone. The design is great!
I dont know but in my opinion, Apple TV is not worth it as you can just watch your favorite movies and tv shows on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. But fine if you want one, go get the Apple TV 4K! Not the HD as the Apple TV HD has not yet been updated since 2017 and only goes up to 1080p quality instead of 4K.
