They are still tracking yoooooou. oooooooeeeeeyyyy—

According to The Financial times, 3rd party apps (like Facebook, Snapchat, etc.) will still track you despite choosing the app not do track you. The Financial times say that Apple’s position was an “unacknowledged shift that lets companies follow an incorrect interpretation of its controversial privacy policy”. Apple has told their developers that they are allowed to track people but not allowed to get people’s information for the purpose of identification.

Apple also is still trusting apps to collect people’s data such as IP address, location, language, device, and screen size despite information is being sent to advertisers.

This is basically like what Jon (Prosser) said in one of his old Front Page Tech videos. You order at McDonalds you want a burger WITHOUT any ketchup but the employee be like: sure. NAHHHH. “AND THEN YOU GET A BURGER THAT HAS KETCHUP ON IT, YOU DIDNT WANT KETCHUP. THEY LITERALLY JUST IGNORED YOUR REQUEST. HOW HARD IS IT TO LISTEN TO THE WORDS TO PUT THE THING ON THE BURGER THAT YOU WANT?!”
