Apple intends to provide a third-party lock adapter for the Mac Studio that latches onto the bottom of the computer to physically protect it without destroying or replacing it in the near future. There is a hole on the bottom of the Mac Studio that some people believe is for a Kensington lock. Kensington locks, on the other hand, are rather massive and will not fit beneath the Mac Studio. Instead, Apple has claimed in a document obtained by MacRumors that a "lock adapter" will be released shortly that consumers may use to keep their Mac Studio "physically secure without modifying or damaging" Apple did not offer pricing or availability information in the message. Apple did something similar with the trashcan Mac Pro, releasing a $49 lock that sits on the side of the device and prevents it from moving or accessing the internals. However, as YouTuber MKBHD has already pointed out, there is no quick or clear method to examine the Mac Studio's internals.
