Apple Launches A New Service Program for Apple Watch Series 6 Owners

Apple launched a new servicing program for Apple Watch Series 6 units that had a "white screen issue." Customers who have been affected will be able to seek a free repair from Apple or authorized service providers. Only a tiny number of 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 units have been afflicted by this issue, which can cause the display to go blank permanently. According to Apple, the impacted units were produced between April and September of 2021.

Customers who have been affected can verify if their Apple Watch Series 6 is repairable by entering their serial number on Apple's website. Except for the 40mm Series 6 Apple Watch, no other Apple Watch models are covered by this servicing program.
