Apple launches their Self Service Repair program

Apple has announced their self service repair program, without having to let a repair shop to fix it for them.


According to Apple’s latest announcement, the Self Service Repair program will give customers genuine parts, tools, and manuals which is recommended to read. Starting with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups. The first phase of the program will focus on iPhone’s most commonly serviced parts including: display, battery, and camera. Other types of repairs will come later next year. Then the second phase will include repairs for the entire M1 Mac lineup.


Customers can also opt. to send their old broken parts to Apple for recycling, which kinda pays their purchase and is only recommended for those who knows has repairing experience. The program should be available by next year and expand throughout the same year.
