Apple has started to work on their 2nd generation Apple AR/VR Headset according to Kuo-Ming Chi.

Despite the first generation Apple AR/VR headset still in the works, I believe that the first generation should be finalized and begin pilot productions in the next upcoming months and launch next year.

In the main report, Kuo-Ming Chi reported that Apple has started planning for the second generation Apple AR/VR Headset, likely to begin shipping by the second half of 2024. This will include a lighter weight, form factor design, battery system, and a lighter processor. It is expected to begin mass production by 4th Quarter next year.

Kuo says the first generation Apple AR/VR Headset is around 300-400g which will obviously work in both environments (augmented reality & virtual reality). And could replace the iPhone in about a decade (10 years) which I doubt.
