The last time Apple tried to work on AirPower failed due to heating issues but this time, they are working on something similar to AirPower…

In the latest edition of Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes that Apple is working on a short and long distance wireless charging device that it imagines a future where all Apple’s devices can charge each other which is basically reverse charging.
I believe this is likely happen to be available on most if not all devices that supports Wireless and/or MagSafe charging. This feature has been implemented on devices that supports it but is currently disabled.
And he still believes that Apple is still working on AirPower despite all the failed testings which is a good move obviously.
Mark Gurman has also reported about Apple’s upcoming VR Headset which he expects that it should be released for as early as next year.
Apple’s VR headset is to have an expensive complex design with replaceable lenses. Apple will likely have to work with the governments globally on possible prescription lenses and partner with prescription companies that worked with tech companies before. And as always, this will take awhile to be released as Apple's employees will have to test it first.
