Alright, so it’s 2022 now so happy new year! This year, we got several repetitive exciting products for this year. And actually for real this time maybe, new apple product never made before Which we will talk about What to Expect on What Apple Products to be released for 2022 right after this
Starting with Apple’s March or April event that Apple will host:
We should see the new iPhone SE, it is unknown if it will be called third generation iPhone se or iPhone se plus as a report by MyDrivers says it’s called SE Plus, but we’ll see then. And everything else, same design, will have the A15 bionic chip, 4GB RAM, and 5G. Price should start at least $269 and most 399
Based on my speculations, we should also see the big sized iMac or maybe the iMac Pro to be announced on this event as last year apple announced the 24” iMac in their April event. We should expect basically almost the same specs. as the MacBook pros, black bezels, hybrid design of the 24” iMac and Pro Display XDR.
And the Mac mini, with a redesign plexi-glass top, also powered by the M1 pro or M1 max chip.
I don’t believe the M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro will release this year but release next year. But the M2 MacBook Pro will be a thing, a 13” model. Likely to be released on October. And about the M2 macs release dates, I’ll explain later. But about the Mac Pro, I believe it will announce this year’s WWDC. Which in a nutshell or overall, will have multiple M1 Pro or M1 Max processors and the same design but the size of a G4 cube. Aaand software stuff like iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13 Mammoth, tvOS 16, WatchOS 9 if im correct, also new apple monitor which is budget friendly. pretty much it.
Alright so next up is the apple September event.
as usual, we get the new iPhone 14 lineup. Which we should expect getting a big redesign basically like the iPhone 4 design with titanium alloy chassis. The pro models will get hole punch then the non-pro models will get a smaller notch. Oh yeah, iPhone 14 mini will not be a thing anymore but there will be an iPhone 14 Max. Plus we should get a 48MP camera that can record up to 8K and a 12MP camera for the pro models. And maybe the iPhone 14 lineup will either be an eSIM only smartphone or the first phone to have eSIM. Base models will get 4 or 6GB RAM then pro models will get 8GB RAM.
As usual, we will get the series 8 Apple Watch. We should expect more medical and safety features on it. Not only that, we should also get 2 more models. The 2nd generation Apple Watch SE, and the rugged version of the Apple Watch which should look be a boxy design we thought would be used for the series 7.
Oh yeah, 10th generation iPad too will be announced with a redesign (maybe) similar to the 4th generation iPad Air, it is likely to be powered by the A14 Bionic Chip and 4GB RAM.
Another iPad, the 5th generation iPad Air which will basically get minor changes, maybe 5GB RAM? It will get the latest processor (A16 bionic chip), almost the same camera system as the M1 ipad pro, and the same LCD display.
Lastly, AirPods Pro 2 should be announced either in the September or October event which the changes there is is a shorter stem, refined design, and fitness features like the aid fitness tracking. Also two more features: lossless audio and speakers inside the case for Find My.
And finally, what to expect for the October event is likely that apple not introducing a repetitive product and could be in-person. We should see apple’s mixed-reality headset to be released which operates the same thing as an iPhone. It is expected to have two separate processors, one is like the M1 and one for sensors. It will have dual 4K micro OLED displays from Sony, dual 4K or 8K cameras, and pretty much it. And should weigh around 300-400g. I doubt it will replace the iPhone because we cannot bring it outside! Its not a portable! This could be part of the “One More Thing” segment in the event.
We should also see the new M2 powered MacBook Air or just MacBook coming in a no more wedge shaped design plus colors like the M1 imac, bigger function keys and white keyboard, maybe a notch, and white bezels.
Oh almost forgot, we should get the 2022 iPad Pro having the landscape apple logo and camera, glass back with wireless charging and MagSafe, will have the M2 chip, thinner bezels revealing a notch (maybe), and a dual-layer OLED display as far as I know.
Now why announce M2 Macs on October? M2 on March or April then M1 pro and M1 max on October does not make any sense. And last year (April 2021), Apple did more M1 macs announcement then M1 Pro and Max Macs announcement later in October so that pretty much makes sense.
