From a new report by 9to5mac, Apple is working on a new Mac Studio which I believe could be released this Tuesday, and here’s why.
The Mac Studio could have been in development for months now as they say the Mac Studio is primarily based on the Mac mini with much more powerful hardware including the M1 Max chip and another variant more powerful than the M1 Max. Unfortunately, I can't even think of a name since Apple's marketing is confusing. Oh yeah, it also has the codename J375.
Since it is based on the Mac mini but with much powerful hardware, there could be two possible ways connecting to upcoming macs this year: one is the high end Mac mini and two is the Mac Pro. This is because there is not enough information if it would be a stacked Mac mini (aka Mac Pro‘s design) or a resemblance of the first Mac mini which the high end would be getting and it is getting a powerful processor. I believe this should be going after the high end Mac mini replacing the 2018 Intel Mac mini due to its naming scheme looking between the M1 Mac mini and the Mac Pro and is likely in development for months now, expected to release this Tuesday. Deeming that the video I uploaded about a day ago for its specifications kinda wrong but I still believe there should be an M1 Pro powered Mac mini.
Aside from a Mac Studio being announced, they also reported that Apple is working on a 7K display called the “Apple Studio Display”, which would get higher screen resolution than the current Pro Display XDR with a pixel density of 218 or 245 Pixels per inch (PPI) on a 36” display that is codenamed J327 and likely to work better on Apple Silicon Macs than on Intel Macs due to its different architecture.
