How should the iPhone move forward?

Apple has handled their newest iPhone 13 lineup pretty well, as was revealed in the September Apple Event. The only logical question from this point is how can Apple further improve the iPhone.

1) The screen

The iPhone has a gorgeous display on the iPhone 13 series. Competitors are one step ahead of them as of right now, with brighter, higher res and more vivid displays.

2) The notch

The display itself is not the only thing that should be changed however. One of the main reasons that the iPhone is being criticised, is the “notch”, that uses up a big percentage of the iPhone’s top portion of the screen, something that should not still exist in 2021. A future alternative is an Under-Display Face-ID and camera module, but until such technologies are advanced enough to produce the level of camera quality and Face-ID accuracy as the conventional notch, only then I can see Apple getting rid of the notch completely.

3) Cameras

iPhones are generally at the top when it comes to camera performance, especially video recording, but as the competition starts using four to five-camera setups, the iPhone’s 2 and 3 cameras will naturally have difficulties to keep up. The telephoto-ultra wide camera solution on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max was indeed claver, but a zoom implementation also needs to be found

4) iOS

And lastly, what powers iPhones, iOS also needs major improvements. I will not be very detailed on this, since I have already written a full article on how iOS should evolve.
