Rumors counsel that Apple will launch the 2022 refresh of the iPhone SE in early 2022.
Supposedly with an even lower price tag. Henceforth the first generation iPhone SE, the entry price has remained the same. $399 for 16GB in 2016, and 64GB in 2020. My Drivers with a 44% accuracy reports that Apple's 2022 refresh for it's budget iPhone could start as low at $269. Making this new iPhone SE a much better value.

The entry-level smartphone is rumored to feature a very similar design to the current model—As opposed to previous models, it will carry the faster A15 chip as found on the iPhone 13 series and iPad Mini, and a new and improved camera.
The new A15 Bionic chip provides better efficiency and performance; that will gradually improve battery life. The current SE provides a bit over three and a half hours, which cannot last a day of use. Combined with an outdated design, cameras from the iPhone 8, and a small battery Apple's current entry level iPhone is a horrible value. For 100 dollars more you get a much better phone, with an improved battery, and better cameras.

Fingers Crossed Apple contradicts these rumors and surprises us. Nothing is confirmed, but this will most likely be their last compact iPhone as leaks surface that the company's entry-level iPhone will be completely redesigned as early as 2024.
iPhone SE is for older people tbh. The screen is fine, and a lot of people are used to it. It would be great for my grandma.
