While Apple News have started to slow down again, we got a new report from Jeff Pu about the iPhone 15 Pro which he basically reiterated about the periscope lens. Thanks for reading!
Im kidding, he gave out new information aside from reiterating about periscope lens being on the iPhone 15 that will get up to 5x zoom, he reported about something related to the supply chain that:
Apple is currently in negotiations with Lante Optics, which is expected to be Apple’s main periscope lens supplier for the iPhone 15 Pro models. Furthermore, Apple has already received component samples and its final decision should be made in five months if it should be used or not.
And if the components have been approved, you guessed it (if you did)! The periscope lens will be used for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and Lante Optics will likely to supply more than 100 million components to Apple, resulting in STONKS company revenue (or great positive impact company revenue).
For those who still doesnt know about Periscope lens, basically in a nutshell, periscope lens is a folded 90 degree prism that reflects light to multiple internal lenses to the camera sensor, allowing much better optical zoom. It is also actually being used from android smartphone companies like Samsung and Huawei.
