It’s been a while since I wrote another article. So for today's news, Mark Gurman has reported the same information regarding the Apple Silicon Processors and Mac lineup.

For more information, he expects that this year’s Macs will be powered by the M2 chip which is a slightly better processor of the M1 but not close to the M1 Pro and M1 Max, and a better version of the M1 Max, likely a dual processor with 20 CPU & 64 GPU cores and quad processor with 40 CPU & 128 GPU cores. And I believe that the M1 Max may get a 12 CPU core configuration to get the iMac Pro RAM up to 256GB RAM.

He also expects that there will be at least seven Macs will be announced later this year including:

1. M1 Pro and M1 Max powered Mac mini (expected to be announced next month)

2. 13” entry-level M2 MacBook Pro (expected to be announced next month)

3. M1 Pro and M1 Max powered iMac Pro (expected to be announced in WWDC)

4. M1 Max and Dual-Quad M1 Max powered Mac Pro (expected to be announced in WWDC)

5. M2 powered MacBook/MacBook Air, 24” iMac, and Mac mini (expected to be announced in October)
