New HomePod coming later this year to early next year, says Kuo

The HomePod was discontinued in 2021 after the release of the HomePod mini in late 2020. According to Kuo, the HomePod may make a return later this year, or in Q1 of next year.

Kuo says that "there may not be much innovation in hardware design," which we can speculate that Apple will keep the same design as the last HomePod.

While we don't know what features could change, we can always speculate. It wouldn't be completly crazy for Apple to add some colors to the HomePod, considering it did that with the HomePod mini, iMac, and many other Apple products.

The last HomePod was $299, and the HomePod mini is $99, so it's kinda hard to speculate if the price can change. I would think that Apple would lower the price, especcially if Apple plans to release a HomePod with any sort of screen (Like the Amazon Echo Show). Most likley (in my opinion) either $249 or $199, and maybe, just maybe $149.
