Apple today announced second-quarter profitability for fiscal year 2022, with revenue of $97.3 billion, a new March quarter high. Although iPad revenue declined by around 2% year over year, Apple's iPhone, Mac, Wearables, and Services product categories all saw gains. Apple's Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said that; "We are very pleased with our record business results for the March quarter, as we set an all-time revenue record for Services and March quarter revenue records for iPhone, Mac, and Wearables, Home and Accessories." During the March quarter, Apple CEO Tim Cook told CNBC that the iPad line was still experiencing "very significant supply constraints." iPad sales decreased 2% to $7.65 billion, although they were still more than experts' expectations of $7.14 billion.
