Apple started selling certified refurbished Apple Watch Series 7 today for the first time since the devices were released in late 2021.
Only the aluminum, GPS-only versions are now available in refurbished conditions, with no stainless steel or Hermès options. A variety of colors and band selections are available for delivery or scheduled pickup at select Apple Store locations.
For comparison, a 41mm Apple Watch Series 7 with a Silicone Sports Band costs $339 in Apple's refurbished shop, but it costs $399 new.
A replacement battery, a new outer shell, and a new white box with complete instructions, as well as a USB-C to proprietary Apple Watch magnetic charger, are included with every Apple Watch. All refurbished models come with Apple's normal one-year warranty and are eligible for AppleCare+ protection. Apple claims that its refurbished goods are extensively inspected and cleaned, and they are practically indistinguishable from brand new Apple products.
